Following the footsteps of his superstar uncle Aamir Khan, who is known for comprehensive research of his roles, actor Imran Khan too strives to "get into the skin" of the character he plays. The actor, who made a successful debut with light hearted college romance "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na" switched to a negative character of Kabir in his second film "Kidnap". Though his second movie did not work at the Box Office, the actor is satisfied with his career graph and says he can do only one film at a time. "I need time to get into the skin of the character I am playing, understand it and working with the director.
Then once the film is complete, I take time to release the character from within me," Imran told PTI in an interview. The 26-year-old actor says he is against getting bracketed in a screen image and likes to "challenge" himself to do what he has never done before.
"Leave alone getting bracketed in a screen image, I don`t like to watch myself on screen. If I get bored doing the same sort of things, it will reflect on my work," he said.
The actor`s third movie "Luck" an action thriller with Sanjay Dutt and Shruti Hasan is all set to release and he has also completed shooting of comedy film "Delhi Belly". "I am recharging myself to start work again from October starting with Punit Malhotra`s untitled film opposite Sonam Kapoor.
It is a romantic comedy produced by Karan Johar," he said.
