I was sitting and arguing (as I often do) with Abhay Deol. I love the guy, and I love the films he does, but we fundamentally disagree on our career paths. He feels you should stick to films that push the boundaries and break new ground. I'm of the opinion that you need to balance yourself. Do classic commercial films as well as experimental ones. This is the crux of it, and we can never quite see eye to eye.
It happened one night in Delhi; we'd all been out for dinner, and then the party moved back to my hotel room.

Everyone is so tight lipped about the cast of Aamir Khan Productions Delhi Belly that it becomes hard to say whether they're making a film or designing the blueprint for the national defence.
We all know that the film's leading man is Aamir's nephew Imran Khan . Beyond that everyone is silent on the cast, including Imran himself.
When asked about the cast he chuckled, "Sorry I'm not at liberty to talk about the rest of the cast besides myself."
Ask him if it's Lisa Ray who was to earlier play the female lead when Ranbir Kapoor was to play the lead.
I'm going to offend some people today. I'm going to be talking about the unimportance of religion. More specifically, the unimportance of what your religion is. I mentioned once that I get a lot of emails from people talking about their relationships, their problems and so forth, and an issue that pops up more often than I'd like is that of caste or religion being a barrier between a couple.
It is not difficult, it is impossible for me to understand this state of affairs. But then I come from an extraordinarily privileged background. I have had the good fortune of growing up in the most secular and integrated household in the country. My nana, a Muslim, married a Christian. My dada was Bengali, and my dadi is British.
