Rediscovering home 28 Sep 2009 | 307 Views | admin
I have a friend who's visiting me from the US. We were in film school together, and we became really close. I moved back to India in 2005 but we stayed in touch, and he always promised that one day he'd come visit. I was never sure if he really would, or if it was just one of those things you say to people. You know, like, “hey dude, we should get together some time. I'll call you, 100%!”. But this turned out to be real, and a couple of months ago he emailed saying that he had booked his tickets and was coming to India.
I immediately started to plan all the places I'd take him, and all the food I'd make him try. We started from the very first day that he got here, which happened to be Eid.

Some of them are courteous, some intelligent, some humorous and some plain arrogant – but on the whole, B’wood stars can be quite an exciting lot. A bit like having tea with the tiger – there is the whole sense of awe and the chance to get some great quotes, but also the danger of being chewed to bits. By Nikhil Taneja Imran Khan makes his debut as RJ, and plays rare gems of music
It started off as an exchange of `tweets' on the social website, Twitter, and ended up as Imran Khan's debut as RJ on 94.3 Radio One. It was a memorable show mostly, because of the stunning music that Khan dished out, and partly because it was him playing the songs.
Khan's debut as RJ happened by chance. When he mentioned on his Twitter account that he loved RJ Malini Agarwal's show on radio, she invited him over. And Khan, who claims to "LOVE radio", was all for it.
