Some of them are courteous, some intelligent, some humorous and some plain arrogant – but on the whole, B’wood stars can be quite an exciting lot. A bit like having tea with the tiger – there is the whole sense of awe and the chance to get some great quotes, but also the danger of being chewed to bits. But more often than not, we walk away with fond memories and great stories – personal recollections that we can’t always write about.

So for this special issue we decided to share with you, our readers, some of the stories from our memory bank – nice, funny, weird or otherwise.

Imran just handed out his phone number
As we all know, stars are very guarded about their personal numbers and prefer to give their secretary’s contact details. This was pre Jaane Tu… and Imran Khan was a cool guy with no airs at all. When I asked him for his contact he said, “Keep my personal number. I know you will not hound me.” Since then, the thoroughly professional star has replied to every SMS! Way to go Imran.
