The wit is razor sharp in the film but it's all very subtle and underplayed. Directed by Abhinay Deo, the grammar of the film is something not used in Indian films. Besides Guzaarish, it is the only mainstream Indian film completely in English, the style of storytelling, the way it's written, shot, etc. Simply put, it can't be dubbed into Hindi. Imran Khan lost weight and grew his hair and beard to lose the 'hero' look so that he'd blend with the rest of the cast.
