Speculations were rife that Imran Khan’s comedy caper 'Delhi Belly' is a sex comedy after the film was labeled with an A certificate by censors. However, Aamir who is producing the film recently broke down the essentials by stating that the film is not a sex comedy but just a funny film.
“It is not a sex comedy. It’s a comic caper. Bahut hi kamina comedy jisko bolte hain, uss type ki film hai. Sex is not there at all. It’s like Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels and I haven’t seen Hangover but I have heard that Hangover is of that genre,” stated Aamir.
Delhi Belly is not for kids, says Aamir The Censor board had been stringent in issuing the A certificate for Aamir’s home production film ‘Delhi Belly’ as it had some vulgar dialogues, nevertheless the actor is least affected with some of the scenes being axed.
For the first time, Aamir has made a film that is supposedly not suited for children; it’s for the youth and the actor is happy that the censors marked the film with an adult certificate.
Speaking about the censor axing some scenes in DB, Aamir stated “No, they didn’t cut anything. The censor too had a lot of fun (laughs). I am confident that the adults in India can decide for themselves what they want to see and enjoy some adult humour also."
Aamir to do an item number Aamir is committed when it comes to making his films and releasing them on time, but apparently now the actor is looking for a new face for an item song in his upcoming home production film ‘Delhi Belly’.
The actor recently revealed in a media interaction that he wants some established actress or a new face to do an item number for a nice grooving song.
“Yes, I'm looking out for someone. We have got quite a nice number, now we are thinking whom we can cast.., It could be an established actor or a fresh face, if you have any suggestions, please let us know," said the actor.
Incidentally, when the actor was asked if he would dance for the song, the actor mockingly stated that if he doesn’t manage to get anyone for the song then he would do it himself.
"As actors, we all want our audience to like our work; so even if you ask me this question after five years I will say yes I want to work harder and harder to be loved by my audience."
