Answer: Thanks a lot! In Kidnap, I play a fairly troubled, angsty and violent character. I think it's very interesting, hope you guys will think so too!

Answer: Hi Ruchi, as to what the hell I am doing in Bollywood, I am hoping to be part of the new lot of people who'll take Indian cinema forward. It's really easy to condemn but it's not too easy to stand up and do something about it

Momo: Hey Imran! This is Momo, from IK.org forums. I am not sure how much a can truly write without making it an essay, but here goes. I have been a big fan of you from day one. The first promo of JTYJN attracted me because it was SO normal. I don?t know whether to blame you, but you made me become crazy for an actor hehe. Now everything Imran excites me. I saw JTYJN on the first day it released and I was extremely satisfied. I knew that being your hard-core fan was all worth it. I highly look forward to Kidnap and Luck. I wish you all the best in health and your upcoming career. My one question for you is if you can actually record a track in any upcoming movies because I loveee your voice! Answer: Hi! Yes you're right. I do feel that my performance was very raw. Honestly I cringe whenever I watch the film but I'm not going to give up. I'm going to work harder and get better. And perhaps one day I'll make a fan out of you!

Answer: Currently I'm doing a lot of weight training for an action film. But if I were not an actor I would have found a more interesting way to stay fit probably like Martial Arts.
Pranati: are you comfortable with ur girlfriend being around when you shoot A=
Answer : Ya it doesn't bother me Avantika is an important part of my life...I want my near and dear ones. Actors have feelings too.
shormi: hey imran....u were great in JTYJN....which one was ur first shot of the movie???????????were u nervous giving ur first shot???????????
Answer: First shot was with Jai and Meghna walking in the park. Scene was ultimately cut from the film but you will probably find it on the DVD. I was not at all nervous.

Answer: I like the scene, where Jay and Aditi are talking and Aditi tells Jay that she's going to New York. And Jay sees the bruise on Aditi's face.
lolo6000: It's a given that you are going to bag all the best debut awards. How do you feel?
Answer: Let's see. As you know the awards people don't really like Aamir. So who knows how much they will like their nephew...
Satish: Were you a little premature for your acting debut?
Answer: I wish I had trained a lot more. I would have been a lot happier with my work. However some of the rawness seems to have worked in favour of the character. And ultimately if it suits the film nothing else matters.
Question: What is your criteria for choosing a film?
Answer: I don't intellectualise this at all. When I read a script, I ask myself one simple question - would I like to watch this film? If it seems like a movie I would like to watch then I would do the movie.
Kavita: Now that you have had a taste of acting as the good guy, and in Kidnap you say you are playing a violent character, what role do you prefer acting in? PS I am your biggest fan. Please visit Australia. Answer: Kidnap was a lot more challenging for me as it pushed me to a very uncomfortable place. However, spending that much time with a dark character can get very dreary. I would like to keep these dark characters to the minimum.
hmmm: Hi, do you think your stardom is because of your family connection? Be honest. If you were a nobody with a debut film, would you be here today?
Answer: When you come from a film family you certainly get opportunities that some of the people might not get. So the initial curiosity the audience has is much higher. However, for a film and for an actor to sustain, beyond the first weekend is dependent entirely on that film and that actor.
Rockfili: Hey Imran, im thinking now that i should have wrote a lengthier paragraph then split my questions. Anyways like all your other fans i would like to congratulate you on the success of Jaane Tu, you may have felt you did not do the best but its just the beginning! Wait for your next projects, coming to that is is true that Aamir has signed you on for his next production venture Delhi Belly, if so please tell us more about it, and your role. I am also keen to watch Kidnap & Luck. I am hoping to attend the New York Film Academy so that i get a better feel of what goes on in the film industry, could you tell me if it will be worth being part of? Answer: Delhi Belly is a great script. It's a caper comedy. But I don't think that I'll be able to be a part of it. As there are date hassles with Luck.

Answer: I don't think I can describe myself. I would need to write a 15-page essay. (After all, I'm Aamir's nephew.)

Answer :Ok guys I'm really sorry. I have to leave now (meeting with an important producer). I'm really sorry about all the hassles that happened. I know that staying an extra hour doesn't quite make up for it. So I'll be responding to a lot of questions that you've already sent in via email. And they will be posted on this site.
